“A few years ago I had the privilege of purchasing two original pieces of Laura Burkhart artwork, and I couldn’t be happier with them. “We have two pieces of fine art from Laura in our house. My favorite scents are cedar and pine and I gravitate towards all of the woods in our house. So I fell in love with Laura’s work the minute I saw it. The first piece we bought was her three piece starburst. We absolutely love the wood and gold leaf accent in our living room. It’s a piece that is so timeless in design. We later worked with Laura on a custom headboard for our bed, which is my favorite artwork in our house! When I told her what colors our bedroom was, she went out of her way to provide samples with various stains and walked us through all the wood types. She then delivered it to our door when it was finished. We have a super minimalistic house and bedroom and this headboard is the perfect marriage of simplicity with a major wow factor of the various wood grains and patterns, in our room.
